Aflatoxins are the most widespread of all the mycotoxins and they are prevalent in warm and humid climatic conditions. Aflatoxins are primarily produced by fungi of the genus Aspergillus and are found in dairy feeds and human food products. They are mainly aflatoxin B1, B2, G1, G2, and the metabolites M1 and M2 derived from the hydroxylation of B1 and B2. Among the foods contaminated , aflatoxin B1 is the most common and the most toxic, and has been classified as a carcinogen by WHO.

Aflatoxin test kit is is based on a time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay rapid quantitative detection technology platform. When the test sample droplet is added to the sample well of the detection card, the fungal toxin in the test sample liquid binds to the antibody labeled with fluorescent microspheres in the binding pad and undergoes capillary action for forward chromatography. After reaching the detection area, the fixed fungal toxin antigen on the detection line binds to the remaining unbound labeled antibody. After the reaction is completed, use a fluorescence quantitative rapid detector to read the fluorescence value, and calculate the content of fungal toxins in the sample through the built-in standard curve, thereby achieving the purpose of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The product can detect samples of grain, oil, grains and their products, food, feed raw materials, and formulated feed.
