Ochratoxins are produced by Aspergillus ochraceus and Penicil verrucosum, and citrinin is produced by Penicillium citrinum. These mycotoxins occur naturally in the environment and thereby commonly contaminate food/feed. Among ochratoxins, ochratoxin A (OTA) is the most toxic. OTA is known a substance with strong toxicity to liver and kidney, which can cause immunosuppression, renal atrophy, fetal malformation, abortion and death of test animals, and has high carcinogenic, teratogenic and mutagenic effects. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has determined that is a class B carcinogen. Both domestic and foreign food safety standards strictly limit the content of OTA in food.

Ochratoxin rapid test kit This product is based on a time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay rapid quantitative detection technology platform. When the test sample droplet is added to the sample well of the detection card, the fungal toxin in the test sample liquid binds to the antibody labeled with fluorescent microspheres in the binding pad and undergoes capillary action for forward chromatography. After reaching the detection area, the fixed fungal toxin antigen on the detection line binds to the remaining unbound labeled antibody. After the reaction is completed, use a fluorescence quantitative rapid detector to read the fluorescence value, and calculate the content of fungal toxins in the sample through the built-in standard curve, thereby achieving the purpose of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The product can detect samples of grain, oil, grains and their products, food, feed raw materials, and formulated feed.
